We exist to awaken this generation of students to their purpose in Christ by building community, pursuing holiness, and mobilizing them for service in the Kingdom.

Parent Meeting
There is SO MUCH going on at 1st Students this summer. We know it can be daunting with so many details and things to remember. In efforts to answer any questions you may have, we’ll be having a parent meeting at 5:30PM on May 20th. Come with your questions!
Sunday Night Kickoff
During the summer months, 1st Students will meet for youth group as usual. However, we won’t be meeting on Wednesday nights; we’ll be meeting on Sunday nights. Our Sunday Night Kickoff is the perfect time to get plugged in or replugged in to this ministry. We are doing this as an intentional move to make 1st Students more accessible for students in band, sports, etc. Sunday nights will also provide students with something of their own. Sunday nights will be dedicated to students, their spiritual health, and building community.
This change will take place from May 31st with our Sunday Night Kickoff to August 2nd with 6th Grade Night. The current plan is to then resume Wednesday nights as usual.
This means that there will be no regular Wednesday night programming for students during these times. With so many events and so many families out of town, we will instead be spending time having fun and building community together. The details for those events are below!

Summer Camp
SUMMER CAMP 2026 | CAMP ON CAMPUS, JULY 12TH-16TH
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” 2 Cor. 5:17. At Camp on Campus 2026, we’re going to explore one of the most powerful truths in the Bible: God doesn’t just improve people. He transforms them. Together, we’ll look at what it means to be reconciled to God, made new in Christ, and sent into the world with purpose. Through large group teaching, small group discussion, and personal Bible study, students will wrestle with real questions, like “Who am I really?” and “What does it look like to live differently in a broken world?”
Camp on Campus is put on by Fortified Hills Baptist Church over on E Paulding Drive. We got to partner with them for DNOW, and this is sure to be an amazing event! Students will be picked up and dropped off each day from Fortified Hills. More details including packing list, schedule, rules, etc. will come out over the coming weeks! Cost is only $125 per student and covers all meals, activities, materials, and a shirt.
